Easy to connect MODY claw connector

Easy-to-connect mod claw connector is definitely an A-class product among nail clips. This easy-to-connect connector is equipped with a 42-millimeter claw in between, so identifying the type of connector using a caliper is effortless. The connector has a handy hand tightening ring, which allows the seal to fit precisely and tightly against the counterpart without pressing and turning the connectors strongly.

Working with traditional claw connectors can be tricky, as it often requires a lot of force to properly tighten the connectors. Connecting the Mody nail connector is easy, because it offers a solution for this with the help of a convenient tightening ring, which enables easy and quick installation of the connector. The downside of a clamp-on claw connector is that dirt can collect between the clamp part and the connector, which can prevent proper tightening of the connector. In such cases, however, it is possible to open the locking ring, clean the clamping part and reinstall it.

The easy-to-connect mod claw connector is made of high-quality cast iron with yellow passivation, and its maximum recommended working pressure is 16 bar. However, we have ourselves tested the connector in hose assemblies at a pressure of up to 200 bar, when only the seal started to leak. This indicates the excellent quality and durability of the connector, and it is therefore perfectly suited for e.g. saturated steam or compressed air. With proper use and regular replacement of seals Mody claw connector is long-lived and an excellent investment.
