Various connectors are used very widely in Finnish industry. We will introduce and discuss them in more detail in our hose blog in the future. I am trying to highlight the good and bad sides of connectors based on 18 years of hose and connector experience in the Finnish industry.
The practices in connectors are very different. Companies pay the price for it with cumbersome hose management. In history, the choice of connectors has been guided by availability and the device manufacturer's preference for a specific connector. Today, however, the availability of almost all basic connectors is reasonably good. However, due to history, in many companies the connector types are unnecessarily variegated. In these cases, the greatest saving and ease lies in the standardization of connectors.
In this blog, I want to briefly and succinctly highlight different connector options. Without hiding your own favorites. I hope you can find help here.
