AN-connectors

AN connectors are connectors used with hoses or pipes that carry fuel, oil, coolant or hydraulic fluid, which provide a neat, tight and reliable connection.  These connectors were originally developed for the needs of the US Army and the name comes from the words Army-Navy. AN fittings are available in various sizes and shapes and are used in various gas, oil, hydraulic and ventilation systems.

When choosing AN connectors, it is important to consider several factors. One of the most important factors is the size of the joint. It is important to choose the right size connector to fit the system and piping. A connector that is too small may clog easily, while a connector that is too large will not work at optimal efficiency.

Another important factor in choosing AN connectors is the material. The most commonly used materials for AN connectors are aluminum, brass and steel. Aluminum connectors are common, as they are light and inexpensive. Brass connectors are also common, as they are very durable and can withstand very high temperatures. Steel connectors are strong and durable, but they are also heavier and more expensive than aluminum and brass connectors. In addition, when choosing AN connectors, it is important to consider the shape of the connection. The shape of the joint affects how it fits into the system and piping.

AN connectors are therefore high-quality connectors used in hydraulic systems. If you need help finding the right connector, we can help!
