Collection of information
What services are used for data collection?
Mittaletku uses various third-party services to collect user data, which can be used to personalize operations, communication and, for example, marketing targeting to suit you. In addition, we have specified what data the service in question collects and stores.
Google Ads
Ads is Google's keyword marketing tool that we use to improve our online presence. When you search, for example, NHChakusana in the Google search service, you will see our advertisement, which will direct you to our website after clicking. In this context, a cookie is installed in your browser, which follows your browser until you delete your browser's cookie history. The information for which this cookie is used is also connected to the Google Analytics service we use, which we use to monitor the results of various marketing measures. If you end up buying products from our online store through such a keyword search, a trace will be left in the Google Analytics service.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics measures actions taken by visitors to our website, such as pages visited and behavior history. Google Analytics works with a cookie stored in the browser, which is used to track actions taken by users. We use the Google Analytics service so that we can improve our customers' visiting experiences and measure the results of various marketing measures. These include, for example, keyword marketing campaigns created in the Google Adwords service, e-mail campaigns and campaigns made in external online services.
We use different social media channels to create a closer relationship with old and potential new customers. Such measures can be simple campaign withdrawals for a targeted customer audience that we believe will like the services we offer. Each service uses its own tracking pixel, which is installed in the source code of our online stores. The tracking pixel is its own small program with the size of one pixel, which tracks people who come to our website through a certain campaign from Facebook, for example. Tracking like this helps us better understand our customers and provide relevant content on each channel.
A similar tracking pixel is used to monitor the financial success of marketing measures carried out on these social media channels. In other words, with the help of such a tracking pixel, we can see how many tracked actions have been implemented with the help of the campaign.
Hotjar
Hotjar is a tool we use to find out which parts of our website people find interesting. With Hotjar, we can see heat maps from different pages when visitors have clicked on them, followed with the mouse cursor or scrolled the page forward. In addition, with the help of Hotjar, we get access to videos that model user actions from the pages we want to monitor. With the help of this information, we can build websites that serve you better: content that interests you in exactly the right place on the page.
Mailchimp
Mailchimp is the e-mail software we use, from which we send our newsletters, customer bulletins and other messages received by customers' e-mails. From Mailchimp, we collect behavioral data at the individual level, but we only use it at the group level to understand which content is interesting to which group of readers. This type of behavioral data includes, for example, e-mail opens and clicks on opened e-mails. Mailchimp stores in your browser's cookie (cookie) the information about the clicks you have made on the e-mails we send and which have been tracked.
In general, all links in the e-mails we send are subject to such monitoring, and this information is also transferred to the customer information system we use, through which our sales organization also utilizes it. The main use of Mailchimp is purely related to marketing measures and we only use it to reach our customers with content targeted to them. Mailchimp stores information to varying degrees depending on the different campaign style, such as first name, last name, industry, phone number, email address, next purchase date, number of employees and each person's own evaluations in the product procurement process.
Hubspot (CRM)
Hubspot CRM, i.e. the customer information system, is a system in which we store the information of our customers, existing and new potential customers, such as company name and contact information. In addition to our sales organization, this information is used by our marketing department, which uses the information to build targeted communications for you with the Mailchimp software mentioned above.
In addition, Hubspot uses the collected customer information in building marketing communications for our customers.
Oscar ERP
Oscar ERP is an enterprise resource planning system used by Mittaletku and an online shopping platform. In this system, we store customer information, such as purchases and orders, including all customer contact information filled in the order.
How do you benefit from data collection?
We are constantly learning more about our customers using the analytics tools mentioned above. In this way, we can offer you content that interests you, which is relevant based on your industry, job duties or behavioral data. Using the same information, we can modify your website visits to match exactly the user experience you expect. A simple example of using such information is, for example, changing the content of a website to match your previous visit.
Data collection is vital to the development of our operations, but you also benefit from it. However, the most important thing for us is that you can do business with us with confidence, knowing that we take care of your privacy and data security.
Klarna payments
In order to be able to offer you Klarna's payment methods, we may transmit your personal data in the form of contact and order information to Klarna in connection with the purchase transaction, so that Klarna can assess whether you are entitled to their payment methods and tailor these payment methods to you. Your transferred personal data will be processed Klarna's own privacy notice in accordance with.
