Silicones and sealants
Silicones and sealants are important substances used for sealing, sealing and fastening. They are durable and easy to use, which makes them a valuable part of different applications in different industries, such as machine and system construction, plastic processing, energy and electricity industry, exhibition construction and store furnishings.
Silicones are particularly good as sealants because they are flexible and work sustainably in a wide temperature range. They also have good pressure and moisture resistance. Silicones are used, for example, for elastic bonds, insulation and impregnation, and even for sealing technical components. Silicones adhere well to steel, aluminum, glass, ceramics and many other materials.
Motor silicones also remain elastic at very high temperatures. They are used, for example, in cylinder covers, valve booths, service hatches, oil and water pumps, gas turbines and gearboxes.
Other sealants are used for gluing and sealing various parts to be installed. These sealants have excellent resistance to most fuels, mineral oils, water, air, coolants, anti-icing agents and kerosene. Therefore, they are suitable, for example, for sealing machines or gearboxes.
When choosing a silicone or sealant, it is important to consider the purpose of the object and the special requirements caused by temperature, environmental humidity or pressure. If choosing the right sealant creates challenges, we will help!
