Shaft seals, also called shims, are very important parts in many rotating and moving machines. Their purpose is to prevent fluid or oil from leaking from the shaft inside the device. Shaft seals are made of durable nitrile rubber that can withstand high temperatures, chemicals and wear.
These gaskets contain a metal spring that is inside the Stefan. Seals are generally easy to install and can be used in a wide variety of applications including engines, pumps, bearings and hydraulic systems.
